It sounds like a service that SHOULDN’T exist, but does. Someone
could backorder tons of domains for that one chance of someone
forgetting to renew.
I have also heard as highlighted in this article that Google is
looking at the length someone registers their domain. If you
register it for 5 years instead of 1, they might bump your ranking a
little for having more staying power. I don’t have any hard proof of
this, but it’s a rumor and makes sense…
There are ways to protect yourself from this type of thing… ask your
domain registrar what they can do for you.
Another thing to be aware of is that people have had their domains
transferred away from them… make sure you have a “domain name
lock”.
Just contact your current domain registrar and ask them what you
need to do to protect your domain… or at the very least register it
for more than a year.

A domain name provides an identity to the business. While
buying a domain name you need to note down the name of
the website domain names and its nearest ones so that if you
do not get that particular domain name, then you can go for

If you want a domain name for your personal use, then use your
name, surname etc. For your business domain name you can

It’s not necessary that you have to get a domain name with .com,
you can buy .net, .us etc. If you like a domain name and would
like to buy that particular name but it is registered with somebody

section through whois search from the website. Sometimes domain
name owners sell their domain names. Domain names have value
and if the domain name is a unique one, then it could be sold for a
higher rate.
